Terms of Service
Last updated: October 24, 2026
MyBrainBook is a free app made by students during the UTEP hackathon 2026. By using it you agree to these terms.
Use
- Use MyBrainBook to study and organize your own school material. It explains topics; it is not meant to hand in graded work for you. Follow your school's academic integrity rules.
- Only record classes where you are allowed to. Recording rules depend on your school and location.
- You are responsible for the accounts you connect (ChatGPT, Groq, Google) and for following their terms.
Your content
Your notes, recordings and files are yours and stay on your computer. See the Privacy Policy.
No warranty
MyBrainBook is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. AI answers and transcriptions can be wrong: double-check anything important, especially dates in your calendar. We are not liable for missed deadlines, grades or data loss. Keep backups of important files.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
